Miss Nousheen Idrees will now participate in the internationally acclaimed title Miss Earth, the current Miss Pakistan is not able to participate. Nosheen was chosen by the Miss Pakistan World Organizers
Remember the Miss Pakistan contest is arranged in Canada every year, and not in Pakistan as Pakistani Shariah Law not allow it.
She lives in Toronto, and studying in Sheffield University and work as a part time model. Just because of her Pakistan heritage this young girl is being accepted at many such titles.
She says “Nosheen said: “I will be having organized events, where I would gather volunteers and seek the local municipal government’s help in planting more trees. I would also organize a ‘Clean Day Event’, where all volunteers including myself would go out and clean 3-4 streets per month. Also I would work with my national director and organize seminars where I’d educate more girls or upcoming models about this part of society as well.
Miss Earth Pegeant Contest Will be held on 9, 2008 at the Clark Expo Amphitheater in Angeles, Pampanga, Philippines where over 90 delegates are expected to arrive on October 19, 2008.

This contest is quite simply and purely about objectifying women like a piece of furniture or a car.
Is this what freedom from male oppression is supposed to be?
Lets not forget that 1000s of little girls in the West are growing up anorexic because these competitions show that the only time a woman has any worth is if she has the perfect figure and strips off all her clothes for men.
Yes i ma also agreed with u SARA….. Its not a right way to represent a muslim lady….But we shoul also consider that from where she(above girl) is muslim….as she brought up in non-muslims and her parents also now at this edge of time unable to teach her islamic life style……but we…the young geeration… should take proper way to stop all this kind of BEHAYYAI.
